This picture was taken up at Washington Park near the Hoyt Arboretum. I then turned it into a daguerreotype using Photoshop. I applied an old frame to give it the extra push for the vintage look. I like this photo because it just appears very simple and blank.
I took this photo at Washington Park on a field trip. I used Photoshop to make it a daguerreotype and then added another old frame to it. I found the perfect metallic texture to blend with the original picture that gave it the scratched, stained look. This is my favorite daguerreotype that I made because the way the rock blends into the grass and the texture.
Tilt-Shift
This tilt-shift photo was taken on the Vista bridge on one of our field trips. Originally, it was a pretty lame picture. However, once I blurred the background, cropped out the sky, and increased the contrast and colors, it looked really cool. The tilt-shift effect worked a lot better than I anticipated, which was great.
