I really enjoy this Bug's Eye View picture for many different reasons. The first is that it just seems like a really odd thing to take a photograph of, and it turns out nicely. The sun also creates a flattering look with the multiple layers of light it provides. There's definitely a lot of light and color to this picture, adding to its attraction.
I love this picture of the multiple colored tomatoes in this Close Up format. The camera really picks up the bright colors and light reflections off of each individual tomato, creating interest and fun in this photo. Also, for a picture that looks so repetitive, I always find myself going back to look at every different tomato and its uniqueness.
This is a picture of a window cleaner on the side of Eliot Tower in downtown Portland. I love this Rule of Thirds because he's not only in the right column of the thirds grid, but also in the middle third row of the grid, making a double thirds effect. The use of negative space comes to my advantage since it keeps the focus on the cleaner and makes him appear to be very high up on the building and surrounded by nothing to protect him.
